Web Application Firewall (WAF)
We are developing a Web Application Firewall (WAF) for Laravel
that protects web applications against common cyberattacks. Our
WAF analyzes incoming requests in real time and blocks malicious
traffic before it reaches the application, without unnecessarily affecting performance or
user experience.
Our solution is fully integrated into Laravel and can be
tailored to the specific security needs of your application. Think
of protection against SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), bots,
vulnerability scanners, rate limiting, IP blocking, extensive logging
and configurable security rules. In this way, we provide your
Laravel application with a powerful, flexible and scalable additional
security layer that grows with your organization.
Features
- 30+ detection patterns — SQL injection, XSS, RCE, directory traversal / LFI, RFI, SSRF, XXE, Log4Shell, NoSQL injection, PHP injection and command injection, organised by OWASP CRS rule id and category.
- Scanner detection — SQLMap, Nikto, Nmap, Burp Suite, Acunetix, WPScan, Nessus, Nuclei, Metasploit and more, by their User-Agent fingerprint.
- Bot detection — scripting libraries, headless browsers and empty/spoofed user agents.
- DDoS monitoring — rate-based threshold detection over a configurable window.
- Confidence scoring — every threat gets a 0-100 score derived from the CRS anomaly score plus contextual signals (breadth, request location, scanner/bot/DoS).
- Evasion-resistant — surfaces are URL-decoded (twice), HTML-entity decoded and null-byte stripped before matching.
